My first salsa class took place during the summer of 1999. I didn't know what to expect but within minutes of taking Tenia's class, I felt at ease and comfortable and overall excited to have her as my teacher and mentor. Before I knew it, I was having the time of my life and meeting some of the greatest people who remain to be some of my closest friends and dance partners.
Hands down, Tenia is one of the most qualified dance instructors I've ever had the pleasure of taking classes from. I took her classes every week for 4 years and I loved every minute of it. She is detailed, creative, extremely talented, caring, funny, genuine and more importantly, so nice. She truly brings out the dancer in each of her students. It is obvious that she takes great pride and care in her work and this is evident every week with her footwork patterns and partner combinations she creates.
She's also an amazing dancer, choreographer and performer...all of which are traits you'll see in her classes.
Ladies, if you haven't yet taken her unique styling classes, please do so. It is a blast and worth every penny!!!
