Amy, once upon a time, decided to learn how to dance ballet. She kept it up for 20 years. Ballet led her to jazz which she studied for 15 years (along with modern and tap which she studied for 10 years). Her deep love for dance led her to salsa, which she seemed to learn in a single day! She won 3rd place in the '98 Mayan Theatre Amateur salsa competition. She was also recently featured as a dancer on the TV program "Caliente".
No matter how many shows or rehearsals Amy has with Stiletto Salsa, she faithfully devotes 2 nights a week to club dancing for non-stop salsa. She keeps her skills polished and she is favored by the club-going salseros!
Amy spends her time off the dance floor with her wonderful family, her husband (of 16 years!) and her two daughters.
